Colonial Revival - 1421 Elk Street

This beautiful Colonial Revival Elk Street home displays many of the characteristics of the style such as; absolute symmetry of the facade, the solid cube shape, full width porch with doubled Doric columns and large central dormer, and Classical details such as an entrance door with a fanlight and sidelights, modillions on the cornice, a Palladian window and decorated trapezoidal lintels over the second story windows.
